Carlow Cookery Bus Trips and Off-site Events
Carlow
Cookery has been offering trips to different culinary points
of interest since 2000. Over the years we have gone
food shopping in New York, Baltimore and Philadelphia and
visited institutions like the Culinary Institute of America
and the French Culinary Institute. These trips not only
been popular with our cooking class participants, but with
people who enjoy exploring interesting locations and areas
known for their great food.
Due
to the popularity of these events, Carlow Cookery will be
offering a variety of bus trips, tours and off-site culinary
events throughout 2007. The ever-popular New York City
Gourmet Markets Tour, Golden Age of Beer Tour of Philadelphia,
and a riverboat cooking class are just a few of the events
that will be offered.
Some
of the events will originate at the store and Carlow Cookery
will provide transportation. When this is the case,
we use a comfortable, spotless Hagey coach fully equipment
with restroom. Participants meet at the store where
they enjoy coffee, snacks and other refreshments. Depending
on the tour refreshment may also be provide upon return from
this trip.
For
other tours where a coach is not feasible, participants are
instructed to meet at a predetermined location. Times
and meeting points are provided in the description of each
tour.
Below
are listed the events that are confirmed at this point and
are open for registration. Please contact us at 215-489-2677
