Cancellation Policy

To decrease the likelihood of a breach in credit card information, the law now mandates that online stores be in compliance with guidelines for higher security standards. To that end, Carlow Cookery nor it's hosting company will ever be in possession of your credit card data.  All transactions are now processed through Authorize.net, a well-recognized and highly regarded payment gateway (to find out more about Authorize.net, click here).  Please understand, this change is to protect you, the consumer.

As a result of this change we have modified our policy on billing and cancellation of classes.  To avoid any confusion in the event of a change to your reservation, please review our policy on cancellations before booking your spots.  Thank you. 

• All cooking classes must be paid for at the time of registration.  You may use our secure online system, call the store with credit card information or pay at the store.
• You may change your reservation for food classes and wine tastings up to one week prior to the event.  You may change your reservation for bus trips up to two weeks prior to the event.
• Cancellations within this timeframe will result in a store credit that may be applied to future events or to merchandise. 
• Cancellations with less than the required notice will result in forfeiture of the event fee.
• Please keep in mind that we try to keep an active list of alternates for the classes.  If you cancel with less than the required notice we will try to find a replacement for you.  If we do, you will receive a credit to future classes.  You are also welcome to send someone in your place on any event. 
• Due to unforeseen circumstances, occasions may arise that require Carlow Cookery to cancel or reschedule classes. Participants will be offered a store credit or full refund in these situations.
  

Booking a Class/Paying with Gift Certificate

If you would like to attend a class and pay by gift certicate you can do one of the following:

• Call the store at 215-489-2677 and confirm the class.  We require that you provide name, phone number and credit card.  Bring the gift certificate with you on the night of the class. The card will be charged in the event that you do not attend the class.
• Bring your gift certificate and register at the store.

Instructors/Recipes

• We do our best to keep to the instructors and recipes listed on the class brochure but changes may occur as the schedule progresses.
